- The project’s purpose is to save the bees by financing and supporting beekeepers around the world.
- The name our non-profit organization is „The Initiative for Intercommunity Cooperation and Development„ name represented by the acronym „ICDI”, in the present status being called association.

- Economical development
- The identification of the needs and the transfer of theoretical and practical knowledge implementation at an international level, to support the local strategic process, theoretically based in the economical domain and taking into account the social, cultural, and environmental aspects of the local/regional development.
- Promoting the public consensus and making responsible at the local level to the reforms and development strategies by creating a common land for understanding, encouraging cooperation between the public and private sectors, and concluding public-private partnership.
- The enhancement of development programs impacts offering knowledge, identifying potential risks, the direction the assistance, and going up to the level of local communities.
- Initiating the effectuation and supporting the elaboration of documentation necessary to access funds non-refundable for local and regional development.
- Promoting communities and the local potentials of development, through activities that are consistent with the geographical, ecological, and cultural characteristics by using human and natural existing resources.
- Promoting the creation of metropolitan areas which include adjacent cities and municipalities, as an ideal logistical unit of planning and implementation of development projects, particularly in the infrastructure development field.
- Strengthening and mobilization of local communities by creating some partnerships between local actors: civic organizations, local public administrations, businesses sector, and other local institutions.
- Promoting entrepreneurial culture and the support of the development of a dominant sector of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) as a contribution for achieving sustainable economic development, including the environmental protection, the competitiveness of the economy and of the industries in the context of globalization, creating jobs and reducing unemployment, improving the life standard; developing the middle class and the democracy.
- Initiating and implementing programs of information and educating people and the generation of decision-making skills at the level of demand (in the sectors of consumption) to participate of consumer in the economical process as participating responsible and informed.
- Promoting rural economical development by supporting the cooperation of the entrepreneurs in rural areas, such as through continuing assistance given to all types of rural entrepreneurs.

- The awareness of the public on issues related to climate changes, to energy conservation and energy efficiency; the methods of dissemination and appropriate technologies
- Conserving the biodiversity and the ecosystems specific to the natural bio-geographical framework.
- Promoting biodiversity conservation, the use and the sustainable management of biodiversity in the ecosystems, including agro-biodiversity.
- The management of protected areas of any type.
- The realization of projects of sustainable development of communities around the protected areas.
- Promotion of alternative instruments to ensure subsistence in local communities around the protected areas.
- The elaboration of viable ecotourism schemes from an ecological point of view.

- Promoting and ensuring of the implementation of the Aarhus Convention concerning the access to information, the public participation in taking-decision and the access to justice in environmental matters.

- Promoting the modernization and efficiency of local public administrations, by know-how transfer, by training programs, by initiating collaboration with organizations, companies, universities, etc.., and the access to European and international resources.
- Initiating and supporting partnerships developed between public administrations at regional and zonal levels in order to realize common projects.
- Initiating and supporting the development of projects related to development, at local, regional, and zonal levels, under the public-private partnership.

- Bringing information concerning the European Union closer to the needs and interests of the public in Romania, to prepare him for the purpose of responsible and informed participation in the process of European development.

- The association will perform, in accordance with the law, individually or in partnership, any necessary activities to achieve the objectives, including but not limited at: documenting activities, consulting, information, educational and professional assistance, research and market survey, marketing, public relation, advertising, public information companies, fundraising, administration and/or protected areas custody, training and professional formation courses, elaboration for financing documentation, project management and economical activities related to its objectives, any other activities necessary to achieve the purpose provided by the Statute and the constitutive Act, in their limits and the law.
